We love a great user experience, but our payment & door access system has a lot of steps, so please read below to make sure you don't miss anything.
Step 1: Check Your Email
Visit your email (check spam and trash if it's not in your inbox) and search for an email titled "Door Access Granted" from info@kisi.io telling you that you've been granted door access at The Hive.
Step 2: Download the Kisi App
The Kisi app is required to unlock The Hive door with your smartphone:
When you have the app installed, enter your email to receive a sign-in link. OR, for manual sign in option, use "thehivewichita" as your organization domain.
Step 3: Request to Join our GroupMe
Visit https://thehivewichita.com/groupme to request access to our membership chat.
Step 4: Download the GroupMe App
Step 5: Plan Your First Visit to The Hive!
We're located at 200 N. Broadway Ave. Ste. 110 Wichita, KS 67202. You can call/text us at 316-333-7001 if you have any issues finding the place.
Step 6: Park in a Safe Spot
If you park in the parking lot off Broadway (behind the Orpheum building), park in a spot marked "The Hive." Our neighbors will tow if you park in a "visitor" spot longer than 2 hours or in a spot marked for another business. There is also street parking off Broadway and 1st as well as paid lots within walking distance. We are the 1st door as you approach the building from the parking lot.
Step 7: Access Your Key for the Door
Pull up your Kisi app to access your key when you're in front of The Hive. Just click on the lock when you're in front of the door and you'll hear a click, then push the door open.
Step 8: Make Yourself at Home!
Our wifi password is thehivewichita. Feel free to grab coffee from the kitchen on your right and sit anywhere in the open spaces. Here's a tour of the space if you're unfamiliar.
*To ensure a safe and trauma-informed environment in our women-focused coworking space, we welcome men into our space for room bookings during the daytime, but we have implemented safety measures that restrict their access from 8 AM to 5 PM. This policy aims to prevent situations where a woman might experience discomfort or triggers when alone with an unfamiliar man after dark. If you are a man, we appreciate your understanding about leaving promptly at 5 PM. If you have a man on site with you, please escort him around the space after dark.
